The game board has 4 sections and 3 folds, measuring 34 3/4" wide by 20 1/2" high. The backside is black with "UNCLE SAM'S" above "MAIL" embossed into it.

The gameboard shows a map of the 48 contiguous United States, while also showing northern portions of Mexico and southern portions of Canada.

A variety of routes are shown on the map, some in black, some in red. Most routes are shown in solid lines, though some are shown as thin double lines. Routes are present through every one of the 48 U.S. states. Routes go through the United States, Canada, and Mexico. A few routes require travel in the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico.

Varioius cities are identified along the routes, with San Francisco and New York shown most prominently.
