The left scene shows a blue elephant with black legs and red rings around the bottom of the front legs. A red, green, yellow, and white board with quadrants appears on the side of the elephant. The publisher's logo appears overlapping the game board, with "A" (red) above "Berwick" (blue) above "Game" (red) with letters in an Old English-style font on a yellow scroll. A man in white with green accents is sitting on top of the elephant's head. A red and orange passenger tent sits on the elephant's back.

The center scene has the game title, "LUDO" (red with yellow upper shadow) above "TIDDLYWINKS" (white with thick light blue outline) above "SNAKES &" above "LADDERS" (red with yellow upper shadow) above "COMPENDIUM" (in yellow). The title appears on a green background that is also the green canopy of trees. The background below is yellow. The main scene shows a pixie (brown outfit including hood, plus shoes with curled-up ends) holding a very large blue wink in its left hand, with its right hand on a large red cup with two yellow stripes around it, and concave sides. Another, similarly dressed pixie is sitting in front of the cup on a yellow wink on the ground, with arms stretched behind him to the ground. A white rabbit appears just to the right of the cup. Two more pixies are shown at right, each with two hands on a large red squidger, looking at a red wink in the air toward the cup. A blue wink is on top of a red wink below them. 2 mushrooms appear at left.

The righ scene depicts two people sitting on the ground. The woman at left (blue top, red, pants, red fez, white earrings) is playing a flute-like instrument (yellow). The man at right (blue top, blue cap, brown pants) is hitting a drum that is hanging by a lanyard around his neck. Another drum (white top, red and teal sides) is sitting on the ground nearby.

A snake is fully curled up at lower left, then a snake curled up but with its head in the air, then another inside a basket but leaning on the ground.

A box bottom build-up (11 3/4" wide by 6 1/4" high by 1" tall) has a circle target with a 1 1/2" diameter hole in the center. The cup is placed inside the hole. The concentric rings around the hole are: red (marked in 4 places as "8" (in white with black outline)), then blue (with "6"), green (with "4"), and orange (with "2" at left and right but cut off at top and bottom). Six scenes within black circles each depict an archer in different situations with instructions below such as "NEAR MISS" above "Add 10". Outside the outer concentric circle, at left and right, are additional illustrations of an archer on grass with trees behind.

Included is a game board (11 7/8" by 11 3/4") with a ludo game on one side and snakes and ladders on the other.

Green cup with "BERWICK'S LIVERPOOL." and "7" around the underside of its bottom. The top diameter is 1 7/8", the bottom diameter 1 1/4", and it is 1 3/8" tall, with a concave side.
