Below, and following the curve (concave up) is "TIDDLEY" and then at upper right, "WINKS" (concave down), with each letter offwhite inside at top, dotted from 2/3 to 1/2 up to the bottom, with a black outline, a black shadow to lower right, and then a dotted shadow to lower right.

People are at a table that includes the target inside the inside bottom of the box, which has multiple holes there. The game target is attached inside the box bottom. It consists of two parts: a red numbered label below a thicker green, white, and gray overlay with holes attached directly above it. The overlay (3 3/4" by 6") has a bumpy surface, and mostly has thick green curves and thinner white ones, along with a few dotty gray connectors. It also has 12 holes (3 across and 4 down), measuring 7/8" in diameter. The red label below shows numbers under the holes; the top row has 2, 3, and 4; the second row, 15, 14, and 13; the third row, 10, 11, and 12; and the bottom row, 6, 7, and 8.

One copy of the game includes the following vegetable ivory or plastic squidgers and winks without burrs:

Squidgers (1" in diameter) are not flat, each substantially curved in around the edges, along with a horizontal indent across it; included are 2 blue and 1 black.

Winks (5/8" in diameter): 2 dull dark red, 2 pink, 2 yellow; 2 green, and 2 faint yellow.
