The playing surface consists of 4 similar square sections illustrated on the box bottom build-up. Each section depicts a bird nest, pale yellow at center, brown around it, and branches and twigs of yellow and green on the outside, plus a tree branches and an open pink/white flower and one about to open. The background of two of the diagonal sections, outside the bird nest, is light blue; the background of the other two is yellow on one and pink on the other. The center of each bird nest has three 3/8" holes in a line. In addition, there are three black circles without holes both above and below those three holes, in each bird nest section.

A variety of colored balls with holes through them are provided with the game. Those measuring 3/8" in diameter include: 3 green, 2 teal, 2 black, 3 brown, and 1 yellow. Those measuring 1/2" in diameter include: 1 blue, 2 brown, 1 yellow, and 1 purplish-red.

These balls are shot using a metal catapult, in the shape of a "V" (1 7/8" long by 1/2" wide at bottom, 1 3/4" long by 1/2" wide at top), with a 3/8" recessed hole on the top part to hold a ball.
