"THE NEW GAME OF
BOSCO."
Bosco is a game of pool with two white balls and a natural wooden pool cue, played on a wooden game board (approximately 23 1/2" high) that is framed in wood with a recessed playing surface.
A ball is positioned in a chute (from lower center to the center of the game board), from which it is shot using the pool cue. Around the top and right side, metal nibs stick up from the game board, positioned in a semicircle, with two nibs at upper left, a gap, then 7 nibs on a curve heading down the right side, and then a gap and one more nib.
The left quadrant of the game board includes an curved chute that starts near the center with the same depth as the main recessed portion of the game board, and becomes shallower as it curves around to the left and then stops near the bottom center.
A dull green round label is attached in a slightly recessed circle to the right of the curved chute. "PATENT APPLIED FOR" is shown around the top, "BOSCO" (with letters taller in the center) across the center, and "E. G. SELCHOW & CO." around the bottom.
