“TIDDLEE SNUKA"

Regd. No. 446293.

RULES.

Any number may play.

Place the pockets in position and all the counters on their respective colours as marked in diagram. The value of counters are as follows:— Reds 1, Yellow 2, Green 3, Mauve 4, Blue 5, Pink 6, Black 7. The game is to flip all the counters into the pockets, and the player scoring the most points during the process, wins the game.

Players must in all cases begin with a red and only one, attempt is allowed for each shot. Should a player "pot" a red at the first attempt he is entitled to play any colour he may choose (other than a red), and should he succeed in potting this also, he must next play a red and so on alternately until he fails in a shot.

All reds remain in the pockets, but all other colours, after being “potted," must be returned to their starting positions until there are no more reds left in play.

When all the reds have been"potted" the other colours must then be potted in strict rotation, viz.: yellow, green, mauve, blue, pink, black, and in these instances they are not returned to their starting positions.

Should any player flip a counter off the playing cloth, or flip one counter on to another, or place it so that it cannot be played, the offending counter must be returned to its starting position and its value deducted from the player’s score.

In the event of the black only being left in play, and a player should incur a penalty such as flipping it off the playing cloth, etc., it is not returned to its starting position, but the game would finish by deducting its value from the offending player's score.

Should any player (being in play) decide, he may flip the counter to be played away from the pocket, as great interest is added by making the next player’s shot difficult as possible.

Illustration of the playing surface that represents the pockets and starting positions on a snooker table. Circles appear in each corner and each center horizontally. "Yellow" and a dot is shown between the top two pockets at left, "Green" and a dot between the top two pockets at right, "Blue" and a dot between the bottom two pockets at left, and "Mauve" and a dot between the bottom two pockets at right. In addition, three consecutive ovals appear across the center, in each of which are 5 dots and "Red" above, representing the red wink starting positions.

Contents

The game comes with a large green felt playing surface (29" by 16 1/2") that has playing areas marked in white stitching: the outer border (rectangle), 6 circles in the corners and midway on the long side, and 3 thin ovals horizontally across the center.

6 unfinished wooden rings (2" outer diameter, 1 1/2" inner diameter, 5/8" tall) are placed over the 6 circles marked on the mat, actually as snooker table pockets into which winks are shot.

4 unfinished wooden styli (1/4" diameter, 6" long) have beveled ends that are used as squidgers to shoot winks.

Copy 1 of this game includes the following small (5/8" diameter) winks: 15 red (plastic), 1 red (bone), 2 gray (plastic), 2 dark blue (plastic), 1 light blue (plastic), 2 green (plastic), 1 yellow (plastic), 1 orange (plastic), 2 mauve (plastic, 1 bluish-green (bone), and 1 blue (bone).
