To automatically add wildcards to a search, select the “Add wildcards” checkbox. Wildcards are assumed if a search field is left blank.
Note: either * or % can be used as a wildcard character. Example: mcl* is the same as mcl%.
Capitalization of letters in searches does not make a difference.
Here are some examples for searching the AGPI Archives Game Catalog.
I want to see all games from McLoughlin Bros. starting with the letter “T”.
OK, then search for games from publishers starting with “mcl” (e.g. McLoughlin Bros.), and with titles starting with “T”.
I want to see all games relating to Basketball.
OK, then search for games from all publishers and with titles including “basket” (whether at the beginning of the game title or not).
I want to see all games produced by Cadaco.
OK, then search for all games from the publisher Cadaco. Note that this will find games published by Cadaco under its various corporate names.
