Patent Medicine

The game may be played by two or more players, the more the merrier. Each player names himself some patent medicine. All the cards are dealt out, each player leaving his cards in front of him, face down on the table. Each player turns up a card and lays it down face up beside his pack. Then the player at the left of dealer turns up the top card quickly and lays it down on top of his own card already turned up.

If the card turned up matches any card face up in the piles started, the player calls out the Patent Medicine taken as the name by the person whose card is matched, or the other players call out the Patent Medicine taken as the name by the player himself. The one calling first gets the others' cards that are face up.

The fun is the great mixup occasioned by calling out and getting the Patent Medicines twisted.

The object is to get all the cards. The one getting all the cards first wins the game.
