Label with offwhite outer border, then blue/black checkerboard border, 3 squares thick, with circular winks at the corners (red at upper left, blue upper right, green lower left, yellow lower right).

At center is a red background with "THE GAME" above "OF" at upper left and then "TIDDLEYWINKS" on diagonal from lower left to upper right, with double underscore. All of the title is in black with a yellow shadow to lower right. The title font has a horizontal "thorn" device at mid-character. On the red background is a mild yellow curlicue.

"MADE IN ENGLAND" (black) appears near the lower right.

The natural wooden cup (1 7/8" top diameter, 2" bottom diameter, 1 3/16" tall, with a concave side from top until the thick base (1/2" tall, 5/16" wider than narrowest concave side position) has two brown rings around the base. The cup is shiny inside and on the sides but nonshiny on the bottom.

One copy of the game includes the following bone squidgers and winks:

Squidgers (1" in diameter): 1 medium blue, 1 green, 1 yellow, and 1 purple.

Winks (9/16" in diameter): 4 medium blue, 4 green, 5 yellow, and 3 dark purple.

The same copy also includes the following plastic squidgers and winks, most likely cut from rods and tumbled:

Squidgers (1" in diameter): 1 teal, 1 yellow, 1 pale purple, 1 dark blue, and 1 green.

Winks (5/8" in diameter): 2 teal, 5 yellow, 4 pale purple, 1 dark blue, and 3 green.

In addition, the same copy includes 1 multicolor 5/8" wink with teal, dark green, and white; and a cardboard disc.
